Job Description
  • Lead and oversee P&L budget process for HOYA LSI Division (HLD) consisting of 4 factories and 6 offices across 6 countries
  • Manage all aspects of the HLD consolidation process, including month and quarter end close
  • Report out P&L budget and monthly/quarterly results with variance explanations to HLD senior staff and HOYA Group HQ
  • Work with Strategic Planning to formulate 5-year P&L forecast and midterm direction/guiding principles for the division
  • Increase operating profit by providing business insights through data/advanced analytics and influencing decisions
  • Partner with IT on digital transformation and process improvement of close and budgeting process
  • Set accounting policy for HLD following IFRS Accounting Standards
  • Collaborate with partners throughout the organization including but not limited to Factory Operations, Sales, Tax, Corporate Finance/Accounting, Internal Audit, Legal, etc.
  • Perform other ad hoc analysis and help lead other special projects as required
  • Lead a team of finance professionals with a strong focus on talent development
Job Requirements
  • Degree or Master Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 6 years in Accounting/Finance role with at least 2 years in a role leading budgeting and/or consolidations (semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred) 
  • Computer/IT knowledge in accounting systems (SAP and/or MS Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a wide cross-section of the company and external parties
  • Strong management, leadership, organizational and planning skills
  • Proven analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Global mindset with and understanding of diversity and working with different cultures
  • Persistent self-starter who is excited to guide cross functional teams through complex analyses
  • Excellent communication skills
