The incumbent is responsible for determining the most effective ways to manufacture products or service and help to drive process/ workflow compliance or improvement. Develops ways to increase productivity, maximizes efficiency and manages manufacturing space capital more effectively.
Job Description
- Identify, investigate, troubleshoot and resolve identified quality issues independently and working with Manufacturing, Procurement, Service and Engineering departments
- Initiate Corrective and Preventative Action plans and perform efficacy follow up
- Review and analyze quality data, Company QN /Nonconformance reports from In-process/Shipping / Field) and Quality Alerts and drive for improvement by working with relevant function stakeholders. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate customers’ escalations and feedback. Investigate the causes of non-conformances and to implement solutions
- Support new product development activities.
- Ensure adequate process control documentation and records are maintained to support life cycle
- Evaluate process validations, qualification, and sustaining reports and data utilizing statistical analysis to ensure acceptable quality level during manufacturing with properly established product specifications and driving improvements
- Review and support product and/or device shipping studies by providing quality and regulatory requirements, approving protocols, assessing generated data and approving final reports
- Provide support for Product and/or Device transfer, Scale-Up, Issue, and Process Validation at factory site
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track internal manufacturing index
- Track quality assurance metrics
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with proven track record to drive problem solving methodology and implementation to benefit the organization
- Familiar with the following operational excellence tools but not limited to; Lean manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, Problem solving, Microsoft project, six sigma
- Experience in Capital Equipment building preferably in the Semiconductor industry.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across functional organization and drive changes.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing.
- Knowledge of new product introduction systems, processes, and standards.
